For Grannan Drive Watermain Replacement The City of Corning, Steuben County, New York, invites sealed bids for the Grannan Drive Watermain Replacement. The work to be done under this project shall include the replacement of existing watermain with ductile iron piping (ductile iron piping supplied by the Owner) and appurtenances along Grannan Drive from 4th Street to Washington Street coupled with any necessary restoration. All bids must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the amount of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents. Any bidder may withdraw their bid at any time before the time set for the opening of the bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the date of opening, but may withdraw it any time prior to the scheduled closing time for reception of bids No Pre-Bid will be held. The City of Corning reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in or to accept or reject any or all bids.
