This Call for Qualification aims to retain for a period of five (5) years plus an option of three (3) additional years, a limited number of General Contractors in Civil Works, Docks and Railways for the maintenance and development of infrastructure of the APM. Candidates who comply with all the requirements of the Request for Qualification will be evaluated by a Selection Committee according to evaluation criteria. The Entrepreneurs thus selected will be those whose Application has obtained the highest score (the selection will be made in descending order). Only Contractors registered on the MPA's list of Qualified Contractors will subsequently be invited to submit Tenders for the work contracts covered by this Request for Qualification. In the event of the withdrawal of one or more Contractors from the list of Qualified Contractors during its period of validity, the MPA reserves the right to reopen the said list and add one or more Qualified Contractors to it. The qualification process is not exclusive. The MPA reserves the right to proceed at any time by public call for tenders, by invitation or by mutual agreement for the awarding of works contracts. As part of this Request for Qualifications, the MPA qualifies a limited number of General Contractors in the following disciplines: Quay works; civil works, roads and infrastructure; Railway works. A Candidate may submit an Application in one or more disciplines depending on his area of expertise and according to the amount thresholds established in the table below, but may not submit an Application in the same discipline at two different thresholds. A pass mark of at least 70% is required to be qualified and have your company registered on the APM's list of Qualified Contractors.
