The Department of Transportation (Department) will receive quotes for Construction On State Highway In Kern County from 2.1 miles east of Chimney Peak Road to 4.2 miles West of Cane Creek Bridge The estimated cost of the project is $123,000.00 Complete the work within 15 working days. District-County-Route-Post Mile: 09-Ker-178-72.7/72.8 No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project Contractor must have a Class A license. The Contractor must be a certified Small Business under section 2-1.04. The Department establishes no DVBE Contract goal but encourages bidders to obtain DVBE participation. If your bid is over $388,000.00 it will be rejected per Public Contract Code 10105(b). Payment Bonds and Insurance will be required at time of Award if your Company is low bidder and awarded the contract.
