Renovation of a library in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The City of Fitchburg invites sealed bids for tenant fitout and interior renovations of 166 Boulder Drive space for the temporary relocation of Fitchburg's Public Library. This solicitation will provide for general demolition, interior modification to walls, doors, flooring, painting and fire Protection. The City will issue contracts through its On-Call contractors for Electrical and HVAC modifications. Question Deadline 03/03/2023 at 12:00 PM ET Questions requiring clarification and all other inquiries shall be submitted in writing to the Chief Procurement Officer only A bid deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the total project is required. A Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the sum of 50% of the Contract Price will be required of the successful Bidder. Project is subject to compliance with prevailing wage requirements. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, and any resulting contract will be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids. The City reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the scope of work and to negotiate contract terms with the successful bidder.
