Renovation of a mixed-use development in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In achieving this established project goal, the MWBE participation goal of 41.3% is defined as the total dollar value of the subcontracts awarded to certified minority business enterprises (MBE), or certified woman-owned business enterprises (WBE), divided by the total dollar value bid amount. The SCBE requests bids for BAYER AR BUILDING RESTORATION - REBID. Removal and replacement of damaged ceiling tiles, Paint existing grid. Remove and replace damaged flooring (carpet tiles/VCT/wood). Remove and replace damaged cove base. Remove damaged wallpaper. Sand and paint walls. Repair damaged sheetrock walls. Remove and replace existing millwork and countertops. Dust control and air filtering to be implemented for drywall repairs. Potential falldown of fire-retardant material above ceiling grid may result in additional cost of abatement. Please reference the attached spreadsheet for quantities and drawings for locations where work is to be performed. Field verification is suggested. Submit a schedule with major milestones and a project timeline. The specifications are contained in the Design Project Manual. Responses submitted must meet or exceed all requirements. Bids that do not meet or exceed all requirements will be considered non-responsive. Additional scope information is provided (See pp. 12-13 for the detailed scope of services and link to access drawings/specifications). Bayer AR Building Restoration The Designer may be requested to assist in providing a detailed scope of work to include due diligence specifically related to the project site. This due diligence shall require but not be limited to the following: 1. Boundary, Topographical & Utility Site Survey 2. Tree Density Survey 3. Preliminary Geotechnical Report 4. Primary Geotechnical Exploration Report 5. Phase 1/ Environmental Assessment Study 6. Traffic Impact Study 7. Historical & Archeological Property Survey 8. Protected Species Assessment 9. (Colors to be determined.) o Remove and replace cove base throughout. (Colors to be determined.) o Remove and replace wood flooring in executive suite. (Material and color to be determined.) o Remove all existing wallpaper and paint walls throughout. (Colors to be determined.) o Repair all damaged sheetrock walls. Remove and replace all ceiling tile. o Paint existing grid. o Replace only damaged areas. o Replace all existing ceiling mounted fluorescent light fixtures with LED fixtures. o Replace plumbing fixtures throughout. Check HVAC, plumbing and sprinkler lines for leaks and operability. o Repair and support all data, telecommunication and coax cable runs. 3rd Floor o Same scope as 6th floor with the exception of removal / replacement of carpet. Carpet is in good condition. 1st Floor (M) Remove and replace all ceiling tile. Paint existing grid. Replace only damaged areas. o Remove all existing wallpaper and paint walls throughout. (Colors to be determined.) o Replace all existing ceiling mounted fluorescent light fixtures with LED fixtures. o Repair and support all data, telecommunication and coax cable runs. Paint all doors. (Colors to be determined.)
