Per the owner, as of October 21, 2024, they do not anticipate releasing additional solicitations related to this project. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. The City of Fowler Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Trails Master Plan project effort will build upon previous activities to identify pedestrian, and bicycle infrastructure deficiencies, including the Fresno County Regional Active Transportation Plan, the Fowler Community Pedestrian & Bicycle Safety Training Summary 4 of 7 and Recommendations Report, and planning efforts related to the Fowler 2040 General Plan Update. The project will conduct additional data collection and public outreach to determine areas of concern related to alternative transportation modes and propose solutions for increased safety and ease of use, among other benefits, for all users of the transportation network. The plan will lead to the development of additional bike trails, sidewalk infrastructure, and multipurpose trails, as well as the improvement of pedestrian crossings and existing infrastructure. The plan will identify specific projects that will increase connectivity and access throughout the City, increase safety for all road users, and provide alternative travel modes with environmental and personal health benefits. The projects identified in the plan will include cost estimates and potential funding sources.
