As of August 21, 2025, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. A firm timeline for bidding and construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Scope of Work Pursuant to Florida State Statute 287.055, Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act, the City of Sunrise, Florida (hereinafter "the City") is seeking to engage the services of qualified firms or individuals to provide Professional engineering services for stormwater pump station no. 8. The City is seeking to hire a firm or individual with extensive experience in the rehabilitation or renovation of stormwater pump stations within South Florida. Additionally, the firm or individual must have the ability to provide the following services within this project: surveying, civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. The individual or firm may team up with sub-consultants to provide these services. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
