Renovation of a residential development in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The New Bedford Housing Authority (NBHA), the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide exterior cleaning and re-painting of 65 residential two story duplex apartment buildings at the Shawmut Village (AMP 50) and Satellite Village (AMP 80) federally aided (HUD) public housing developments in New Bedford Massachusetts. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Unexpected Closures: If at the advertised time scheduled for the bid opening the New Bedford Housing Authority Procurement Office is closed due to uncontrolled events such as fire, snow, ice, wind or building evacuation, then the bid opening will be postponed until 10:00 A.M. on the next regularly scheduled business day. All bids will be accepted until that time and date. The NBHA reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in any or all bids, or to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, if it be in the public interest to do so.
