The Contractor agrees to provide, labor, supplies, materials, transportation, and travel necessary to perform semi-annual maintenance, incidental repairs, and 24-hour emergency services to the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVC) Systems to the Department of Water Resources (DWR), Sutter Maintenance Yard The Contractor will perform all inspection and maintenance services as specified herein and as necessary to maintain the optimum level of efficiency for each specified piece of equipment. Services will include cleaning, oiling, lubrication, adjustment, calibration, alignment, timing, replacement of all filters, inspection of all mechanical parts, and operational testing of each piece of equipment, furnishing all necessary repairs and replacement parts The anticipated term of this agreement is three (3) years Anticipated start date of agreement is July 2023 The Contractor must possess and maintain throughout the term of this agreement, a valid 'C-20' Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning Specialty License, issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board or a 'B' License with a Subcontractor who possesses the aforementioned 'C-20' Specialty License. In accordance with the applicable provisions of the Labor Code, the Contractor and any subcontractors shall pay their employees prevailing wages for the performance of that portion of the work, which is "public works" Bids by hand delivery must be submitted during one of the following time periods: Friday, March 17, 2023 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. OR Friday, March 17, 2023 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please email Cheryl Rowe at Cheryl.Rowe@water.ca.gov to confirm your plan to submit your bid in person during one of the forementioned times.
