The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a firm pricing schedule for contracting with a bidder for janitorial services for citywide locations as directed by the City Representative. The work included in these specifications shall consist of furnishing all labor, transportation, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, and incidentals required for janitorial services for City locations: Old City Hall (OCH), Tampa Municipal Office Building (TMOB), Columbus Municipal Office Building (CMOB), Development Center, Tampa Police Department Head Quarters, Tampa Police District 1, II, and III locations, Tampa Police Impound Lot Office, Tampa Police Air Hanger, Tampa Police/Fire Communication Center, Tampa Fire / Police Training Center, Tampa Police Gun Range, Tampa Police Rich House at Robles Park , Tampa Police Rich House at Sulphur Springs, Tampa Police K9 Trailer, and Tampa Police Marina locations. Additional services include Day-porter service based on a flat rate that will be directed on an as needed basis. The janitorial services described in these Technical Specifications shall be performed as a continuous and constant program throughout the Award. Woman-Owned/Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (WMBE) and Small/Local Business Enterprises (SLBE) are encouraged to participate in the bid process. The City of Tampa has a managed Small and Local Busineess program to certify both its woman-owned, minority-owned, and small business vendors.
