Provide construction services which will consist of the partial removal of the North and South Dams located at Block 807, Lot 1 (Camp Cromwell). The work also includes fish salvage & restocking, dewatering, temporary sandbag check dams, riprap channel armoring, matrix riprap (partially grouted riprap), and plantings / landscaping. All disturbed areas will be restored to their original condition beyond the limits of the proposed work. The Specifications include the NJDEP Dam Safety Permit and Freshwater Wetlands General Permit #18 issued for this project. Permits include timing restrictions and other requirements. The construction schedule for this project is critical and the duration time specified within the Project Specifications must be maintained: Fish Salvage/Stocking prior to May 30, Construction June 30 September 1 per permit. The Township will enforce the Construction duration of this project as well as the end of construction deadline. Bidders are advised to not submit bids for this project if they cannot meet the schedule noted. Therefore, it is it the sole responsibility of the bidder to check the website from now through the bid opening. All bid results will be posted on the Township website. Bidders are subject to the provisions of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A.40A:11 1 seq. governing bidding requirements. Bidders are required to comply with the requirement of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 at seq and P.L. 1975 c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27)
