Salem-Keizer Public Schools, Oregon School District 24J, located in the cities of Salem and Keizer, is the secondlargest school district in Oregon, educating over 42,000 students enrolled in grades K-12, not including students in the charter schools. The District currently operates 42 elementary schools serving K-5, 11 middle schools serving grades 6-8, 8 comprehensive senior high schools service grades 9-12, and 5 alternative high school programs, four charter schools currently operate within the District's boundaries. There are 612 students in Salem-Keizer charter schools and 2 charter school in District owned facilities. The District employs approximately 5,000 full-time staff, including certified (credentialed teaching), classified (non-teaching) and management. Questions are due by February 24, 2023 by 1:00 PM Pacific Time. The Contract resulting from this RFP will have an initial term of five (5) years. The Contract may be extended by written agreement for an additional two, one-year extensions through 2030 for a total potential Contract term of seven (7) years.
