Salem-Keizer Public Schools, Oregon School District 24J, located in the cities of Salem and Keizer, is the secondlargest school district in Oregon, educating over 42,000 students enrolled in grades K-12, not including students in the charter schools. The District currently operates 42 elementary schools serving K-5, 11 middle schools serving grades 6-8, 8 comprehensive senior high schools service grades 9-12, and 5 alternative high school programs, four charter schools currently operate within the District's boundaries. There are 612 students in Salem-Keizer charter schools and 2 charter school in District owned facilities. The District employs approximately 5,000 full-time staff, including certified (credentialed teaching), classified (non-teaching) and management. Questions are due by February 24, 2023 by 1:00 PM Pacific Time. Questions must be delivered via email to Tasha Alonso. alonsochavez_natasha@salkeiz.k12.or.us Questions received via telephone will not be addressed. The Contract resulting from this RFP will have an initial term of five (5) years. The Contract may be extended by written agreement for an additional two, one-year extensions through 2030 for a total potential Contract term of seven (7) years.
