All questions and requests for clarification must be submitted by email to procurement@dmr.ms.gov. All questions/requests for clarification must be received no later than March 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. CST. The scope of work for the contract will include, but is not limited to, the following: The Contractor will be responsible for creating new reefs located at FH 1, FH 2, and FH 13, which can be found in Attachment A. The new reefs will be comprised of materials of design and will be deployed in permitted areas. The Contractor must meet with MDMR representatives to discuss all aspects of the agreement prior to beginning any work. The date and time of the meeting will be set by mutual agreement following award of the contract. The Contractor must provide the MDMR with the name(s) and phone number(s) of the person(s) who will be the official contact(s) for the Contractor. The Contractor must provide a list of the exact equipment that will be used to transport and deploy the reef material. The MDMR reserves the right to inspect all equipment prior to any deployment. The MDMR will provide Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates and a map of deployment locations. An MDMR representative will be onsite to monitor and oversee that the reef material is being deployed at the MDMR specified locations. The Contractor must notify MDMR twenty-four (24) hours prior to the Contractors departure to the artificial reef site. Questions Submission Deadline March 1, 2023 10:00 AM CST The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources (MDMR) will accept sealed bids for the manufacture and deployment of concrete/limestone structures for artificial reef development. The MDMR reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informalities.
