Womens Huron Valley Correctional Facility (WHVCF) - PA and Paging System Upgrades Upgrade the Paging & Communications Systems at Women's Huron Valley Correctional Facility Install a new audio paging system throughout the site to support distribution of announcements, tones and emergency messages. The paging system shall be distributed on the secure Ethernet network from the West Administration Building to all other buildings. There shall be local microphones at the housing units and other buildings as noted on the drawings. Install new audio distribution equipment, audio amplifiers, cabling, speakers and microphones as required to provide a complete audio paging system for the site. See floorplans for locations of existing speakers and new speakers. Test all existing speakers at each building by conducting a walk text and listening. Report any speakers making a snap, crackle or pop. Work shall include configuration of the existing Ethernet network to support the audio paging system. Work shall include connection of existing emergency sirens as shown on the drawings and integration of the sirens to the paging system. Data Cabling for WIFI network and Wireless Access Points: Provide and install copper and fiber optic cabling as shown on the drawing and as detailed in the specifications to support a new Data network and Wireless Access Points (WAPs) throughout all the buildings noted. Work shall include installation and testing of all fiber and copper CAT-6A cabling. Work shall include providing CAT-6A and fiber optic patch cables required for connectivity of the Ethernet electronics and WAPS. Install all Ethernet switches and WAPS that are provided by the owner. The WAPS will be provided at the Administration building. Contractor shall install all Switches and WAPS and connect together. Confirm connectivity from each WAP to the switch and from each Switch to the core switches in West Admin and East Kent Buildings. ACCEPTING QUESTIONS UNTIL: March 13th, 2023 @ 2:00 PM.
