Task Order Landscaping and Hydro-Seeding Services Statewide. Location: Statewide. Bids may be made for any or all of five (5) MaineDOT regions. Outline of Work: Landscape services, hydro-seeding, and other incidental work. The list of items in the Schedule of Items provides only estimated quantities, for determination of the low bidder. There shal] be no guarantee of a minimum or maximum amount of work under the subsequent Task Order Contract. Work will be ordered as needed. MaineDOT will only pay for actual items installed at cost per-unit prices. A Two-Year Establishment Period for all plantings shall be incidental to the work. Questions received after 12:00 noon of the Monday before the bid date will not be answered. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by MaineDOT. No Bid Bond, Performance Bond, or Maintenance Bond shall be required. A contractor may bid on any or all Regions. Appropriate Certificates of Insurance, set out in Special Provision 110, should be submitted as part of Bid Documents. This Contract is subject to all applicable federal and state taws and to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation.
