construction of roadway and utility improvements on Durand Road in Randolph NH This Town funded project involves the construction of separate Base Bid and Bid Alternate work as described below: Base Bid: Variable depth pavement reclamation with emulsion injection of Durand Road between Stations 125+00 to 177+00 and 220+50 and 235+00, and three drainage culvert replacements. Bid Alternate A: Full depth construction of turnarounds at the east and west ends of Durand Road. Bid Alternate B: Variable depth pavement reclamation with emulsion injection of Durand Road between Stations 103+00 to 125+00, 177+00 to 220+50, and 235+00 and 290+50 Completion time for the project will be calculated from the date specified in the "Notice to Proceed". It is anticipated that a Notice to Proceed will be issued on or before April 1, 2023. Notice to proceed and award of the contract is contingent on successful passage of the Town's warrant article. The Town vote is March 14, 2023. From the start date of the Notice to Proceed, the entire project work must be substantially completed within: \b 80 calendar days for the Base Bid With added days if bid alternates are selected: \b 14 calendar days for the Bid Alternate A \b 106 calendar days for the Bid Alternate B Final Completion must be achieved within 30 days of substantial completion. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid security made payable to the Town of Randolph in an amount of 5% of Bidder's Bid price and shall be in the form of a certified check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements included in the General Conditions of the contract. The selected bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the project price. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in any or all proposals, to reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal submitted for the project, as deemed by the Owner to be in its best interests based upon qualifications, experience, demonstrated ability to perform, cost, and other factors deemed by the Owner to bear on the successful outcome of the Contract
