All site work shall comply with current ADA standards for accessible design. IF the Contractor finds a conflict between the drawings and ADA requirements, Contractor shall stop work immediately and notify the City Project Manager. The Contractor is responsible for field staking all construction elements. All materials shall be installed in accordance with manufacturers written instructions and recommendations. Project scope as outlined in drawings includes: Modifying existing boardwalk to add new pressure treated steps and deck system with steel railing Concrete landing areas Stone steps Existing boulder relocation Hillside wood steps Silt fence Shop drawings (signed & sealed structural engineer review of steps and deck system design intent drawings provided) All Offerors shall be registered with the South Carolina Secretary of State Office by the response deadline. Any Offerors who are not registered with the South Carolina Secretary of State Office at the time submissions are due may be found non-responsive and may be withdrawn from consideration. The City of Columbia requires every person or business engaged in or intending to engage in any calling, business, occupation or profession, in whole or in part, within the limits of the city to pay an annual license fee and obtain a business license as provided in the ordinance. A valid City of Columbia Business License must be in place prior to issuance of a Notice to Proceed and valid City of Columbia Purchase Order.
