Renovation of a residential development in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The Housing Authority of Montour County will receive sealed bids from bona fide Mechanical & Electrical Construction contract bidders for the following construction work: Replacement of the existing individual room thermostats for the Mid-Rise facility. Work includes removal of all components associated with the existing thermostats and providing and installing new devices complete with all conduit, piping, electronics, etc. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Housing Authority of Montour County, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond, executed by the bidder and acceptable surety (Treasury Listed) to the Housing Authority in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the Base Bid is required to be submitted with the sealed bid proposal. If a bid guarantee is not received, the Housing Authority will reject the bid proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to one-hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. Surety must be listed on the current U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570. A one year Maintenance Bond will also be required from the successful bidder. Costs for all bonds is the responsibility of the contractor and shall be included as part of the submitted Base Bid. Attention is called to the provision for equal employment opportunity and the compliance with Section 3 Regulations (employment opportunities for low-income persons in HUD-Funded construction and modernization projects) and the payment of not less than the wages set forth in the Specifications. *Interested bidders must obtain their own set of documents from the issuing office, Architect, directly to be an eligible bidder.
