The City of Ventura is soliciting bids for the Annual Supply and Delivery of Water and Wastewater Treatment Chemicals at various sites throughout the City of Ventura. No oral, telegraphic, electronic, facsimile, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered in the absence of a sealed proposal Contractors MUST attend all five (5) locations for the site walks. Site Walk Locations: 1. Ventura Water Reclamation Facility (VWRF) 1400 Spinnaker Dr. Ventura, CA 93001 2. Avenue Water Treatment Plant (AWTP) 5895N. Ventura Ave Ventura, CA 93001 3. Hall Canyon 2701 Hall canyon Rd. Ventura, CA 93002 4. Bailey Water Conditioning Facility (Bailey) 6315 Fremont Street Ventura, CA 93002 5. Saticoy Treatment Plant (Saticoy) 10975 E. Telegraph Rd. Ventura, CA 93004 All questions regarding this Invitation to Bid (ITB) shall be submitted via email to Patricia Zavala, Senior Buyer, in the Purchasing and Contracts Division at pzavala@cityofventura.ca.gov PRIOR to Friday March 3, 2022, at 3:00 PM.. Any questions submitted after the deadline shall be rejected. Any response will be in the form of an addendum. TERM: City of Ventura Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) are funded on an annual basis only. Therefore, rates provided in response to this request shall be valid from July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024, unless otherwise agreed to by both parties in writing. At the end of the term, the City reserves the right to: (1) close the BPO, (2) re-bid the services or goods offered in this BPO or (3) renew this Agreement for four (1) one-year increments. Any price increases or decreases shall be negotiated at time of contract extension. Initial term, plus any option to extend shall not exceed a total of five (5) years The City shall be the sole judge of the successful bidder hereunder. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
