Invitation The City of West Lafayette is seeking sealed proposals from qualified contractors interested in providing ultraviolet lights and installation services for city-owned HVAC units located at various locations throughout city. All work must meet current industry standards and all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Background Ensuring a healthy environment for employees and visitors City buildings is of the upmost importance. UV air purification systems sanitize the air helping remove spores, bacteria, viruses, mold, and significantly reducing the presence of VOCs and unwanted odors through and active ionization process. The installation of this system onto the City of West Lafayette's various HVAC systems will help to improve the respiratory health of its employees and citizens through the deployment of UV air purification systems. Project Overview and Scope The City of West Lafayette must provide a myriad of different services and amenities to its residents, given the broad range of functions The City of West Lafayette has a unique building envelope for each facility. This variety of functions result in different HVAC systems across the City of West Lafayette. The City of West Lafayette requests that UV air purification systems be installed at the following locations on existing HVAC systems.
