City Utilities (CU) requests proposals for a blanket agreement for valve maintenance and repair services for a period of one year beginning upon award, with renewal options. The valves to be serviced are those typically found in a steam power generation facility. The services expected are as follows: o Regular, periodic inspection, repair, and calibration of steam system and high energy system safety valves. (Drum, Main Steam and Feedwater Heater safeties, etc.) o As-needed inspection and repair of process valves of any size. Process valves include any type of valve typically found in a steam power production facility including, but not limited, to gate valves, globe valves, check valves, butterfly valves, ball valves and needle valves. CU reserves the right to award multiple (primary/secondary/tertiary/etc.) contracts as the nature of this work is at times urgent and the decision on which contracted vendor to call will be based on the lowest and best combination of cost and availability.
