Description

Renovation of a detention facility in Valyermo, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,800-square-foot detention facility.

For all contracts exceeding $10,000, Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond on a standard bond company form, in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. For all contracts exceeding $25,000, Contractor shall furnish a Payment Bond on form STD. 807 in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, and fees necessary to demolish, dispose of, and install approximately 3,800 square feet (SF) of metal roofing for an existing auto shop building at CAL FIRE's Fenner Canyon Conservation Camp (CC). Roofing - Remove existing torch-down roofing and underlayment to exposed plywood sheeting; replace degraded plywood sheeting as needed and approved by CAL FIRE Project Representative (line item quote to include assumed 50% sheeting replacement); install new metal roofing per provided specifications and manufacturer requirements; all additional penetrations and roofing openings to be weathered and installed for per manufacturer installation specifications [including plumbing, venting, mechanical (HVAC curbs)]. Prevailing wage rates do apply to this project. For prevailing wage rate data specific to trades associated with this project All questions should be emailed in writing to Sarah.Best@fire.ca.gov and CAL FIRE will provide answers to questions by written response on March 3, 2023. NO QUESTIONS will be entertained after March 1, 2023. Anticipated Contract Execution Date 05/01/2023
