Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Peterborough, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This Invitation to Tender (the "ITT") is an invitation by the City of Peterborough (the "City") to prospective bidders to submit bids for Multi-Use Trail Pavement Resurfacing, CP Rail Removals and Lansdowne Street West Bridge Approach Repairs, as further described in Section D.1 of the ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). This ITT covers the saw cutting and removal of existing asphalt, fine grading, application of emulsified asphalt tack coat, installation of hot mix asphalt and pavement crack sealing of Parkway and Rotary multi-use trails. Saw cutting and removal of existing asphalt, removal of existing CP railway ties, earth excavation and grading, curb/sidewalk removals, curb/sidewalk re-installations, road granular restoration, application of emulsified asphalt tack coat, installation of hot mix asphalt and application of pavement markings on Westcott Street. Milling/paving of the bridge approach on Lansdowne Street West adjacent to lock 19. All are locations are within the City of Peterborough and as per design drawings.
