Site work, environmental remediation and renovation of a municipal facility in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility; for environmental remediation for a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
This project will correct the existing water intrusion issues occurring in the building, as well as improving the existing building enclosure system for long term performance. Work to include, but is not limited to, existing historic wood doors and window assemblies to be restored (repaired, stripped, re-painted, and re-sealed), along with incorporating new high-performance perimeter seals for a watertight condition. Restoration includes lead-based paint abatement and glazing compounds. Exterior limestone facade to be cleaned and repaired. Existing 2nd story portico to receive extensive repairs to balustrade, along with removal/re-installation of existing stone flooring and waterproofing. Exterior enclosure work to also include in-place mock-ups as well as third party water testing. Miscellaneous wall and ceiling patch/repair work to occur throughout the building to accomodate new work. Stuctural repairs, lead/asbestos abatement and other work to occur per drawings and specifications attached herein. Magnitude: $1-5M Bonds (Bid, Performance/Payment): Required PoP: 300 days
