Heating Boilers and Tank Water Heater for Craig Municipal Building Due Date Wednesday, March 22nd 2023, 5:30 pm Award of bid will be at the March 28, 2023, City Council meeting. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening the bid without the consent of the City of Craig, for a period of 30 days after the scheduled time for opening bids. The bids must be completely filled out on the bid form provided. Bids shall be addressed to the City of Craig, and shall have the name of the bidder and Heating Boilers and Tank Water Heater for Craig Municipal Building written thereon. The City of Craig (the City) located in NW Colorado, is seeking REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) to install Commercial Heating Boilers and Tank Water Heater at the Craig Municipal Building (City Hall) located at 300 W. 4th St. Current, system operates on three boilers and one tank water heater. System has become outdated and, in some cases, unserviceable due to unavailable replacement parts. The preferred replacements will service the Craig Municipal Building heat load as well as domestic water. Selected contractor will work with City personnel to minimize disruptions throughout the project. The City of Craig requires performance bonds on any contracts over $50,000. PREFERRED REPLACEMENT COMPONENTS or EQUIVALENT: o Cap and seal original venting penetration. o Replace Belimo B325-LF24-SR bypass valve. o Install (2) Lochinvar 285,000 btu Knight floor model boilers with variable primary groups. o CSD-1 boiler control package. o Re-installation of TRANE BMS controls. o Install glycol in system to 30% concentration. o Install 30-gallon Axiom dmf-300 fill tank. o Install Caleffi Legiomix valve-600059a. o Install piped redundantly with isolation valves (2) Taco 0011 pumps for air handler load. o Install (1) Grundfos 96411613 single phase pump for the building re-heat. o Install (1) Triangle Tube Smart 50 side arm tank with Grunfos 15-58 pump. o Install Taco 008 stainless steel domestic water circulation pump. o Install a (3/4") Caleffi Legiomix - mixing valve on the domestic hot water system as well as a stainless steel domestic recirculation pump.
