Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Inkster, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; municipal facility; municipal facility; and municipal facility.

The City of Inkster is soliciting proposals from qualified developers and business owners to develop a structure within the city: 27301 S. River Park Dr. 44-018-03-0199-300, 1.345 AC. The City is requesting formal proposals to redevelop and/or revitalize the building for more productive use. The objective of this Request for Proposal is to purchase the building from the City and redevelop it to help revitalize the corresponding district. The proposed uses for this building must comply with the City of Inkster's Master Plan and the existing zoning, the Town Center District (TCD). The selected applicant will be expected to enter into a Developer Agreement with the City of Inkster. The developer and project expectations will align with the below proposal requirements. The City reserves the right to accept the proposal that is, in its judgment, the best and most favorable to the interests of the City and to the public; to reject the proposal with the lowest consultant fee; to accept any item of any proposal; to reject any and all proposals; and to waive irregularities and informalities in any proposal submitted or in the RFP process; provided, however, that the waiver of any prior defect or informality shall not be considered a waiver of any future or similar defect or informality. Firms should not rely upon, or anticipate, such waivers in submitting their proposal. The City Council has the ultimate authority to approve any proposal and to authorize execution of the Agreement.
