In general, the Work consists of, but not limited to, the following: The conversion of existing And over controls over to ALC. This is a like for like conversion to provide what is already existing with Andover. Also includes installation of new ALC router; provide system programming , graphics & alarms; management & installation of all controls as-builts, submittals & O&M documents; cable installation training for campus staff; warranty. License Required: California B - General Building Bid Documents and when submitted, shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cashiers Check in the amount of 10% of bid (made payable to the Contra Costa Community College District). The District reserves the right to forfeit Bid Bond submitted for failure of the successful bidder to secure Payment and Performance Bonds. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a labor and material bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bonds to be secured from a surety company acceptable to the Contra Costa Community College District and authorized to execute such surety in the State of California. Project documents available include, but are not limited to plans, specifications, addenda, bidders lists, bid results, etc., and can be viewed on this District webpage. Attention is directed to Section 00600, Construction Agreement, Article 5. regarding liquidated damages. Liquidated Damages shall be set for $100.00 Dollars for each calendar day the work is delayed beyond the Contract Substantial Completion date. The Governing Board of the Contra Costa Community College District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received.
