**As of April 24, 2023, project was awarded to Berger Excavating Contractors., and the awarded amount is $5,380,194.30.** Modifying the Intersections of Darrell Road City/County : Lake Description : The improvements include modifying the intersections of Darrell Road with Case Road and Neville Road to provide a modern roundabout. Case Road will be shifted to the north to align with Neville Road. This work includes HMA pavement reconstruction, pavement widening and resurfacing, concrete curb and gutter and median construction, HMA multi-use path construction, installation of storm sewer and drainage structures, excavation of a detention basin, street lighting installation, pavement marking, landscaping, and all associated work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and as described herein. To bid on this project, contractors shall be required to provide a valid IDOT Certificate of Eligibility and obtain an approved LCDOT Authorization to Bid. Project Location: Darrell Road from south of Case Road to south of Dowell Road in Island Lake and unincorporated Lake County. The net length of the improvement is 1.30 miles ILDOT - Modifying the Intersections of Darrell Road - 13-00107-09-CH
