The City of Solana Beach, California, issues a Request for Bid (RFB) from landscape professionals experienced in providing landscape maintenance services for City owned properties, as specified in Exhibits A and B. Receipt of Bids: All bid proposals must be received by the City Clerk’s office PRIOR TO 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Bid Security: Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid shall accompany the Bid. Questions: Qualified bidders may submit questions by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 by e-mail addressed to LCarrillo@cosb.org. The City Representative will post responses to all submitted questions on the City of Solana Beach website by 4:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2023. Contractor License: The successful bidder will be required to possess a current State of California Class A License and appropriate Class C-27 Specialty License at the time the Contract is awarded. Prevailing Wage: In accordance with the California Labor Code, the Contractor must pay not less than prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations for all work done under this contract. Contractors must also be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations per Labor Code Section 1771.1(a). Project Documents: The project documents include the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (Green Book), 2018 Edition; the San Diego Regional Standard Drawings for Public Works, 2018 Edition; the Solana Beach Annotations to the San Diego Regional Standards and the contract documents.
