The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The site is approximately 5.0 acres (APN:502-35-371B) located in the Blue Horizon Community in Buckeye, Arizona Located on Yuma Road west of Jackrabbit Trail. The Fire station shall be located on the north side of Yuma Road, approximately 3600 LF west of Jackrabbit Trail, just west of the RID Canal. It will be located south of a residential subdivision, and east of a municipal wastewater complex. In general, most utilities are readily available. There will be some coordination with Arizona Water, Arizona Public Service, Southwest gas and any other utilities located in the vicinity that are necessary to get service to the site. Off-site improvements include a right turn lane, sidewalk, landscape, irrigation, signing and marking, and minor drainage improvements. The station will be a single story, 3 bay fire station, approximately 18,521 square feet with a separate community and weight room. There will also be a visitor parking area, fueling station, on site radio tower, and a secured covered parking area for staff. The plans are complete, and the project is being advertised as a CMAR so that the Contractor may assist in value engineering the design to minimize the overall cost. It is in the southwest quadrant of Township 1 North, Range 2 West, Section 8 and has an Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) of 502-35-371B. The site is bounded by the Roosevelt Irrigation District Canal along the southeast edge of the site, the Blue Horizon residential development to the east and north of the project site, an existing City of Buckeye lift station to the west, and Yuma Road to the south
