The City of Oconomowoc Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is requesting to obtain bids for supplying and installing LED sports courts lighting to the Pickleball Complex at Northeast Regional Park, 1350 Whalen Drive, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 for the City of Oconomowoc in the summer of 2023. Northeast Regional Park Pickleball Lighting Project 1) Summary a) Contractor is required to provide all supplies, materials, equipment and labor necessary to install the required Pickleball Court LED lighting system. It should be understood that this is for bidding purposes, and final product/scope may change at the discretion of the City of Oconomowoc. b) Project completion: September 1, 2023 c) It is recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a bid. d) MSI General, City of Oconomowoc Utility and Parks, Recreation Forestry staff are available to answer questions prior to bid submittal. 2) System Description a) The Court lighting system is designed to allow the safe use of all 10 Pickleball Courts at night and be easily maintained by municipal employees. Please see Photometric Plan (C-106) b) Concrete bases with anchor bolts and conduit within the courts have already been installed. 3) General Contractor Responsibilities a) During installation, the contractor will take precautions to NOT damage playing surfaces. All concrete base locations can be accessed via 4 of the courts or the outside of the courts. b) Participate in Pre-Construction meeting with MSI General, City Utility and Parks, Recreation and Forestry staff. c) Required permitting and coordination with Oconomowoc Utilities (as necessary). d) Verification of proper voltage at service entrance. e) Supply and installation of all underground conduit from Support Building to the already installed conduits at the Pickleball Courts. f) Properly balance single-phase electrical system throughout facility. g) Supply and installation of grounding rods, if necessary. h) Unloading of all materials using safe and proper procedures. i) Proper storage of materials and waste disposal. j) Confirm all materials received. k) Confirm materials are in working condition with no damage. l) Follow all lighting manufacturer supplied installation documentation. m) Provide materials and proper equipment to assemble poles and brackets. n) Provide materials and proper equipment to mount electrical panels. o) Provide materials and proper equipment to assemble and mount LED fixtures *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
