Bulletin Desc: Grafton is soliciting sealed bids for the extension of the Water Main on Westboro Road. This project is subject to MGL C. 30, Sec. 39M The work consists of replacing approximately 2,400 linear feet of existing 8-inch and 10-inch cast iron water main on Westboro Road from Pine Street to Willard Street with new 12-inch ductile iron pipe. Work will also include installation of new valves, hydrants, connections to existing water mains, and roadway restoration. Once the installation of the new water main is complete all building service and fire service connections on the existing water main will be transferred to the new water main. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. This Contract contains price adjustments for hot mix asphalt mixes, diesel fuel, and gasoline.
