SWAMP ROAD: Topcoat 4,300 feet long by 22 feet wide on Swamp Road with 1/2 inch state specifications, asphalt, 1 1/2 inches thick. The start and finish of pavement will need to be milled. There are five dirt driveways that will need a 1-foot apron. There are eight paved driveways that will need to be milled. There is one intersection at Sanborn Hill Road that will need to be milled. The shoulders will need 3/4 inch ledge pack machine installed 12 to 18 inches wide. MOUNT DELIGHT ROAD: Topcoat 2,270 feet long by 22 feet wide on Mount Delight Road with 1/2 inch state spec. asphalt 1 1/2 inches thick. The start and finish of pavement will need to be milled. There is one intersection at Old Mountain Road that will need to be milled 42 feet long. At #30 there will need an apron installed 20 feet wide by 14 feet deep. There are two paved driveways that will need to be milled. There are five dirt driveways that will need a 12-inch apron. The shoulder will need 3/4 inch ledge pack installed with a machine 12 to 18 inches wide. There is 1,175 feet of paved swales that will need to be top coated. Signage, traffic control and sweeping will be the responsibility of the contractor awarded bid. There will need to be a Bid Bond of 5%. All contractors must be pre-qualified with NH DOT to bid on this project and the Contractor awarded the bid will follow NH DOT Best Management procedures. The Town of Epsom reserves the right to refuse any and all bids. Any questions can be directed to the Epsom Road Agent at 545-4302 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor agrees that it will carry any and all insurance which will protect it, the Town of Epsom and their officials, agents, volunteers and employees from any and all claims and demands, costs, damages, loss of service or consortium, expr related to the Contract. The Contractor further agrees that the Town of Epsom and its officials, agents, volunteers and employees shall be named as an additional insured in any and all such liability insurance policies required by the Town of Epsom., compensation, and attorney's fees including but not limited to any and all claims for personal injury and/or death, workers compensation injuries, and property damages which may in any way, arise from or out of the operations of the Contractor whether such operations be performed by the Contractor itself, anyone directly or indirectly employed by it or any other persons or company retained in any way to carry on all or portion of the operations, activities or work required by or related to the contract. The Contractor further agrees that the Town of Epsom and its officials, agents, volunteers and employees shall be named as the additional insured in any and all such liability insurance policies required by the Town of Epsom.
