Update:The waterline along Dave Berry Road was installed in the 1960's as part of the McGaheysville Water System and includes a mix of 6-inch asbestos concrete pipe and 2- inch PVC pipe. The length is approximately 2,700 linear feet. The line needs to be replaced due to its age and at the same time upgraded to an 8-inch line to accommodate future growth in this area as well as provide the ability to install fire hydrants along this section of roadway.
