Reference Number : 1716350 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-05-29 Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in a single submission document Options related to this notice: This notice has renewal options (Two renewal options of one year each) Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 12 By this notice, the Center de services scolaire de Montréal (CSSDM) invites tenders for the following call for tenders: Project title: Inspection, maintenance, repair and replacement of portable fire extinguishers, fire cabinets, fire hoses and fire fittings Tender number: 15-384P Object of the contract: The purpose of this call for tenders is to retain the services of a specialist for the verification of manual operation extinguishing systems (portable extinguishers, fire cabinets, fire hoses and firefighter connections) for schools. and administrative units of the CSSDM, in accordance with the conditions of this call for tenders. You will be asked to: Inspection and updating of inventory; Maintenance or replacement of equipment; Equipment repair; The acquisition of 50 fire extinguishers over two years (at the initial agreement and at the renewal option). Any maintenance of the fire main is excluded from this call for tenders (flow test, inspection of the piping, testing of the alarms, etc.), except for a visual inspection of the access to the fire brigade connection (Siamese terminal). Inspection, maintenance, repair or replacement must be carried out in accordance with the regulations in force at the time of the maintenance: City of Montreal by-law 12-005 entitled Fire prevention by-law indicates that: The maintenance of extinguishers must be carried out in accordance with CNPI-2010 which refers to the NFPA10 standard, version 2007, Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers ; The maintenance of fire cabinets must be carried out in accordance with CNPI-2010 which refers to the NFPA25 standard, version 2008, Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems which refers to the NFPA 1962 standard , version 2003, Standard for the Inspection, Care, Use of Fire Hose, Couplings, and Nozzles and the Service Testing of Fire Hose. Provincial Safety Code , Chapter B-1.1, r.3, Building Act; Provincial Safety in Public Buildings Regulations , c. S-3, r. 2; Provincial regulation respecting occupational health and safety , chapter S-2.1, r. 13. Specialized bidder The tenderer must be certified for extinguishers and recognized as a specialist for the verification of manual operation extinguishing systems and possess all the required permits and licenses. Maintenance of fire extinguishers must be carried out by certified personnel who have undergone at least one test on the chapters and annexes of NFPA10, version 2007 or more recent and on the chapters and annexes of NFPA1962, version 2003 or more recent. It is the responsibility of the tenderer to ensure that its personnel comply with them. The contractor must present, for the staff assigned to the CSSDM contract, the training certificates dated and signed by an accredited body. Contract period: The contract will be valid for a period of one year from the date the order is awarded. The agreement will be accompanied by two renewal options of one year each in accordance with the conditions of the call for tenders. Each option may be exercised at the request of the CSSDM and with the agreement of the successful bidder.
