The City of Phoenix invites sealed offers to provide trash compactor and baler
preventative maintenance and repair services on an as-needed basis for a five (5)-year
contract term, commencing on or about June 1, 2023. Services under this contract shall be performed on a 24-hour/7-days a week basis if
deemed necessary by the City Department Representative (CDR).
The departments included in this Contract are the Aviation Department, Phoenix
Convention Center, and Public Works Department. The total number of compactors and
balers included at this time is, but not limited to: 1.1. The Aviation Department is a 24-hour-a-day/7-days-a-week/365-days-a-year
operation and subject to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) security mandates.
The Contractor and its employees will be required to work and operate a motor
vehicle within the secured areas of the Airport. All contractor's staff working under
this contract must pass a Security Threat Assessment and Criminal Background
Check as well as take the Airfield Driver Training Program and pass an interactive
test to obtain the Airfield Driving permit endorsement on their security badge.

800-367-8939 for assistance. 1.3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this Agreement will terminate upon the earliest
occurrence: by reaching the end of the term including any extensions exercised,
or termination pursuant to the provisions of this Agreement. BUSINESS EXPERIENCE: Offeror must have been in operation a minimum of
five (5) consecutive years within the last ten (10) years. The Offeror's normal
business activity during this time will have been for providing trash compactor and
baler preventative maintenance and repair services as defined in Section V -
Scope of Work. The "Experience" qualification will also be verified through the
references provided in the Business References in Section VI-Submittals of this
solicitation.
