1. The project includes providing new turf football/soccer field, new track base and surface, new home grandstand, and entrance structure. Along with associated site work. The base bid is scheduled to be substantially complete by August 17, 2023. The asphalt for the track is to be complete by June 30, 2023. The base for the synthetic turf is to be complete by June 30, 2023. Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract. Low Bidder: Larson Construction $5,495,000 - Awarded 2. Track Surface. Low: Fisher Tracks $200,230 - Awarded 2nd: Beynon Sports Surfaces $226,745 3. Synthetic Turf Low: Sprintuft LLC $461,080 - Awarded Bids will be considered at a meeting of the Marshalltown Community School District Board at the Central Administration Office at 1002 S. 3rd Avenue, Marshalltown, Iowa 50158, at 5:00 PM, on Monday, March 27, 2023. At this meeting, the Board may take action to award the contracts, or it may table said award to a later date. Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders questions received up to two (2) business days prior to conference.
