In accordance with the provisions of Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 252 and 271, GEUS, a Municipally owned Electric Utility and a separate and distinct instrumentality of the City of Greenville, Texas, is requesting submissions to contract with a proven business that has considerable experience in providing goods or services in response to this solicitation. GEUS is requesting a response from qualified companies to perform a Pole Attachment Inventory and GIS inventory. GEUS, is a Municipal Electric Utility located in Greenville, Texas. The Buyer operates a generation, transmission, and distribution electric utility and also provides high speed Internet and Cable Television service. Electric power is distributed to approximately 27,000 residents or 14,700 electric connections over a 97 square-mile service territory. GEUS is a Municipally Owned Utility. GEUS is not considered a city department as it is governed by a completely independent and autonomous Board of Trustees.
