Renovation of a mixed-use development in Rantoul, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 9,000-square-foot educational facility.
The project consists of renovating three floor on the north side of the gym totaling approximately 9,000 square feet. Work includes renovating/adding restrooms on all three levels, ADA upgrades, new interior finishes, plumbing, heating, and electrical. Prevailing wages in accordance with Champaign County is required. Bid security is required, in the form of abid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid as guarantee that the bid will not be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of opening of bids, and that the successful bidder will enter into aContract for the work awarded to them. Bid security shall be made payable to Rantoul Twp. High School Dist. #193. Bonds are required: Both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Payment Bond are required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under acondition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, towaive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the owner. Award of acontract is anticipated to occur at the March 2023 meeting of the Board of Education. Begin construction on June 5, 2023. The Work shall be Substantially Complete on or before September 1, 2023 with final completion on or before September 15, 2023.
