For Supplemental Potable Water Source and Distribution Design The Trust for Governors Island is seeking to engage a civil engineer to be the prime consultant of a team of consultants for the purpose of providing planning, design engineering, bid support, entitlement and permitting support, and construction administration services for the Governors Island Supplemental Potable Water Source and Distribution Design Project. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% The Trust for Governors Island (the "Trust") is seeking to engage a civil engineer to be the prime consultant (the "Consultant") of a team of consultants for the purpose of providing planning, design engineering, bid support, entitlement and permitting support, and construction administration services (collectively the "Design Services Scope") for the Governors Island Supplemental Potable Water Source and Distribution Design Project (the "Project"). The Design Services Scope for the Project is described in Section 1.2 "Scope of Work". Engineering firms who submit a response ("Submission") to this Request for Proposals ("RFP") will hereafter be referred to as "Proposer(s)." The selected Proposer, once a design agreement (the "Contract") is executed, will then be known as the 'Consultant(s)' and will perform design services in accordance with the processes described in this RFP and in compliance with all applicable Legal Requirements. Please see Exhibit C for a Sample Subcontractor Agreement. Women and Minority-owned Business ("M/WBE's") are strongly encouraged to respond to this RFP. Proposers are also encouraged, if applicable, to include M/WBE's as sub-consultants. Any proposing design firm must identify in its proposal whether it, or if applicable, if any of the proposed sub-consultants are M/WBE firms.
