Site work and paving for a road / highway in Snow Hill, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Greene County is soliciting proposals for construction of a paved driveway to the side entrance (off Dobbs Street in Snow Hill, NC) to the rear of the Emergency Operations Center (312 SE 2nd Street, Snow Hill, NC 28580), and a parking lot in the rear of the facility. Bidders shall be responsible for completing the attached bid proposal form. Failure to use the attached bid form will result in an incomplete bid and will be rejected. Bids not received by the date and time of the bid as noted above, will not be considered. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, add or delete streets, whichever it deems to be in the Countys best interest. Contractor shall rough grade, excavate, compact a driveway from Dobbs Street to existing fence line approximately 63' x 20'. Construction of the driveway shall include 8" Coarse Aggregate Stone Base (CABC), 2.5"thick asphalt binder S9.5C, and 1.5" thick surface asphalt S9.5B. The parking lot area is approximately 185'X 195'. Construction of the parking lot shall include 6" of Coarse Aggregate Stone Base (CABC),and 3" thick asphalt S9.5B All work shall be in conformance with the 2018 edition of the NCDOT Standard Specifications, and Superpave Quality Management System.
