SCOPE OF WORK: This is a resurfacing project for: Fisher RD, from Malauka Road to SE 113 th Street Road. Generally, the work includes: 1.1 Overlaying the existing pavement 1.2 Constructing side street and driveway aprons 1.3 Sodding shoulders 1.4 Installing pavement markings 2. Contract Time, Schedule and Liquidated Damages: The total contract time for these projects is 90 calendar days (including approximately 45 days from substantial completion to project closeout), including COUNTY observed holidays. No work is permitted during COUNTY holidays unless it is approved by the COUNTY, forty-eight (48) hours in advance. Failure to achieve Final Completion within the allotted contract time will cause the charge of liquidated damages against the CONTRACTOR at the daily rate established in this provision. At the Pre-Construction Conference, CONTRACTOR shall submit a schedule for performing the work. The schedule shall be within the contract time allotted for this project and shall include tentative dates of performance. The Notice to Proceed will not be issued until all required documentation is received by the COUNTY. The successful bidder shall start work on this project within 15 calendar days after a Notice to Proceed.
