The Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority (MECA) has a bid offering for Cantilever Gate Replacement. The Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority ("MECA") is requesting proposals from qualified organizations interested in replacing a cantilevered gate and repairing a section of chain link fence at CHI Health Center Omaha ("CHIHCO"). MECA is responsible for managing the operations of the Facility Information about the mandatory pre-bid meeting is available in the RFP The successful Bidder is responsible to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to remove a damaged cantilever gate and post, install a new gate and post, and repair a section of chain link fence. The gate is 5' H x 32' W and runs along the east side of Parking Lot D's entrance. New gate, rollers, wire, posts, rails and any other materials needed, shall meet or exceed the construction of the existing components, to include matching size and pattern. Bidders will have the opportunity to view the fence at the Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting. Bidders must provide a detailed specification sheet for the cantilever gate with their proposal. Project Details o Remove damaged post and footing. o Replace 4" counterbalance post in new concrete footing. o Remove existing gate and install new 5' tall x 32' wide black vinyl coated chain link cantilever slide gate with 4 new nylon rollers. o Repair approximate 10' section of 60" tall, black vinyl coated chain link fence, reusing railing and wire when possible.
