The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is inviting bids from qualified security consultants to provide consultative services as part of the comprehensive school safety assessments, within the area of site-specific security assessments, improve the safety technology infrastructure across all Franklin County school districts as part of the implementation of the following awarded federal grant. The intent of the Franklin County School Violence Prevention Program (FCSVPP) for the request for proposals is to select a security firm to provide consultative services as part of the comprehensive school safety assessments, within the area of site-specific security assessments, as it pertains to each of the below listed school facilities within the county of Franklin, Maine. Assessments shall be specific to the development of a tiered security plan, as it may include but not be limited to; the grounds surrounding each facility, structural layout and design of each complex, building materials and hardware, access control, security related technology, emergency action planning and operational procedures and shall follow all required federal guidelines as presented in the awarded grant. The deadline for completion of this project is August 2023. This Bid proposal is specific to security assessments for the following facilities in Franklin County: Day Mountain Middle School in Strong, Maine Phillips Elementary School in Phillips, Maine Mr. Abram High School in Salem, Maine Kingfield Elementary School in Kingfield, Maine Rangeley Lakes Regional School (K-12) in Rangeley, Maine Stratton School (K-8) in Stratton, Maine The Franklin County Sheriff's Office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the bid as it deems to be in the best interest of the County of Franklin.
