Site work for a civil project in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) invites qualified Site Utility / Plumbing Contractors to bid on summer of 2023 work at Somers Elementary School. Project scope of work includes, but is not limited to capping an existing well and removal of exterior well housing, directional boring HDPE water pipe, demolition and replacement of interior galvanized water pipe, installing new copper pipe connections, site restoration. KUSD will contract separately for the abatement scope of work, which includes material testing, abatement, air testing and material disposal related to existing water piping and equipment in the mechanical mezzanine. Detailed schedule coordination of abatement demolition work and general construction services under these bid packages will be required. This project is considered a "Turn-Key" installation project, which includes all of the necessary DNR and municipal permits, fees and approvals in the contractors bid. The Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive any informality or technicality in any bid/proposal submitted, and to accept any part of a bid/proposal deemed to be in the best interest of KUSD. KUSD reserves the right to negotiate with any company after the bid opening has occurred.
