BIDS are invited for the items and quantities of work as follows: The Ranchettes 2 & 3 Central Drainage Project Phase II generally includes preparation of right-of-way, mill and overlay of existing pavement, addition of ribbon "lay-down" curbs, construction of storm water infrastructure including inlets, storm conduit and channel grading, utility adjustment to valves, manholes, and services. The deadline to ask questions is 6/14/2024 5:00 PM CDT Bid Security in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID, issued by an acceptable surety company, must accompany each BID as a guarantee that the Successful Bidder will enter into a proper Contract and execute Bonds and Guaranties on the forms provided within ten (10) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the CONTRACTOR. Bid Security shall be in accordance with Section 00100 - Instructions to Bidders. The successful BIDDER must furnish a "PERFORMANCE BOND" and "PAYMENT BOND" on forms provided with the Contract Documents. Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount from a solvent Surety company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas and acceptable to the OWNER. The Contractor shall have one-hundred eight (180) calendar days to complete all work under this contract once work begins. Liquidated damages are five-hundred dollars ($500) per calendar day in accordance with Agreement, Section 00500. The CITY OF CEDAR PARK reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS or to waive any informality in the bidding process. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the prices in any BID, the OWNER reserves the right to determine which BIDS are the lowest and/or best, and to award the contract on this basis. No BID may be withdrawn within one hundred twenty (120) days after opening of BIDS. If a submitted BID is withdrawn within the said period, BID guarantee shall become property of the OWNER
