Reference Number 0000311653 The City of Riverdale, through its Public Works Department, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for construction of the Riverdale Centre Event Fencing. This project installs an estimated quantity of approximately 1,100 linear feet of fence (to be verified in the field) with 7 person gates (5 with permanent metal detectors), and 4 vehicle gates. This project also includes two underground electrical conduits to be installed between the various columns and lighting to be installed beside the columns. Work shall be done per the construction drawings and documents prepared by Office of Design. All utility relocation is the responsibility of the contractor. The bids shall be prepared as one lump sum. The City reserves to right to reject bids from unqualified bidders or bid the City deems fraudulent. Locally owned businesses, minority owned firms and female-owned firms are encouraged to respond to this RFP. Potential Bidders are urged to carefully read and review the information contained within this Request for Proposal and respond accordingly. Each bidder will be required to submit a bid bond of 5% of its bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to submit performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of its bid amount.
