Site work for a water / sewer project in Princeton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project provides for the sewer rehabilitation of select areas within the Municipality of Princeton. The principal items of work consist of the following: Cleaning, CCTV inspection, Chemical root treatment, Air testing, and Chemical grout sealing of 8-inch and 10-inch active sanitary sewer mains and 4-inch and 6-inch active sanitary laterals; Air testing and chemically grout sealing of tap connections; Installing cured-in-place point repairs (CIPPR); Maintenance hole lining; Installation of maintenance hole chimney seals; Rehabilitation, resetting, and rebuilding of maintenance holes; Chemical grout sealing of maintenance hole wall joints, base joints and pipe penetrations; and other related miscellaneous work. The project must be substantially completed in 300 calendar days. The entire project must be completed in 360 calendar days. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineering Department before Friday, July 28, 2023, at 11:59 PM. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check or bid bond of an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00, payable to the Municipality of Princeton and a Consent of Surety. The surety shall be bound to furnish performance and payment bonds as required in the "Instructions to Bidders". All applicable surety bonds required in connection with the advertisement and award of building contracts or subagreements must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570--Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds), incorporated herein by reference. The Municipality intends to award this project to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive and complies with its requirements for same, provided that in the judgment of the Municipality it is reasonable, and within available funds of the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject all bids to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made, or bids will be rejected within 60 days after the opening of bids, unless extended as provided by law. Bid Results: National Water Main Cleaning Company Option 1, Total Project Cost, Segments 1 through 49 only: $1,626,791.50 Option 2, Total Project Cost, Segments 1 through 56: $1,809,679.00
