Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ramara, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Township of Ramara is looking for qualified contractors to complete the following as part of the 2023 capital roads budget. Pulverize to a depth of 150mm, Grade and compact the granular material then repave the surface with a compacted 60mm lift of HL4 Hot mix at 7 locations. Fairgrounds Road (9,475 Sq M), Longford Mills Road (5,040 Sq M), Victoria Park Road (4,300 Sq M), Edgehill Dr (4,745 Sq M), Tuppy Dr (1,720Sq M), Harrys Ln (2,675 Sq M), Leo Cres (1,540 Sq M). Pulverize to a depth of 150mm, Apply a single lift of Gravel (Gravel must meet the Granular "A" spec to be accepted) to Ramara a rate of 400 tonne per KM of roadway, Grade and compact the granular material then repave the surface with two lifts compacted 60mm per lift (120 mm) of HL4 (top) and HL8 (base) Hot mix on Ramara Road 47 (40,630 Sq M). Apply gravel for a shoulder in both directions of travel at a specified width Cut, regrade and pave existing paved driveways to match road transition. Apply gravel and grade elevation transition of existing gravel driveways. All Hotmix Material is to be spread with a elevation controlled Hotmix Paver, the Paver is to be supplied via a Material Transfer Vehicle which is fed by applicable Trucks.
