Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Boyden, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work will consist of reconstructing the street pavement and storm sewer on four blocks of West Prairie Street and one block on Grant Street. The work will consist of approximately: 7,380 S.Y. Subgrade Preparation, 12" 7,380 S.Y. Subbase 1,821 L.F. Storm Sewer, RCP 17 EA. Storm Structures 3,330 L.F. Curb & Gutter, PCC, 6" 5,430 S.Y. Double Bituminous Seal Coat and other related construction work. Proposals will be acted on by the City Council at a meeting to be held at the Council Chambers, 609 Webb Street in Boyden, Iowa, on the 20th day of March 2023, at 5:30 o'clock P.M., or may be acted on at such later time and place as may be then fixed. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bid Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
